The space is larger than what can be perceived in photographs, and it exudes an amazing ambiance. Parking was conveniently accessible, and entering and locating the studio was a breeze. I can't say enough about how excellent our experience with Hannah and the Octopus Lounge was! In the days leading up to our reservation, Hannah provided prompt and helpful information. The space itself exceeded our expectations, and she was completely accommodating and welcoming to our group. I would highly and enthusiastically recommend, and would absolutely reserve the lounge again!!

I used Michelangelo’s venue for a proposal and proposal afterparty with our close friends. Our experience was phenomenal, the views were incredible, and the sound system made for an unbeatable evening of dancing. Michelangelo was incredibly helpful both in helping to game plan the proposal beforehand and ensuring the event went smoothly day of.

Events Review! Pros: Super kind and helpful owners, nice area of Dallas, beautiful space, lots of parking Cons: No wifi (should def be disclosed), AC doesn't really work b/c it's an old building, building locks completely on the weekend so it's hard for clients to access on their own, lots of cleaning/set up needed prior to event, floral wallpaper in main area Overall, I would recommend this space as a photo studio over an event space. I think it needs a few more things (like wifi and functioning AC) before being listed as an event space. With that being said it definitely served it's purpose and I would recommend it as a photo studio!
