No permits are required. Note on Crew Size Selection Please ensure you select the correct crew size when booking. We will be on-site the day of your shoot to conduct a headcount. If your actual crew size exceeds the selected range, your booking rate will be adjusted accordingly through Giggster to reflect the correct rate for your production size. The film location is located 75 minutes from Los Angeles in Lancaster, CA. 5-acre desert property that abounds with Succulent plants, and Joshua trees, and features amazing rock formations. Feature films, TV shows, commercials, music videos, stills contemporary, western, period, automotive, and science fiction. Internal tracks/roads for action scenes: no public vehicle permits are required for automobiles. Accessible Hotels, service stations, restaurants, and support near. We've partnered with Eazy Rider Productions to deliver whatever your production needs. Richard is awesome! He's super accommodating and quick to respond. Reserving the location was simple and we even got to meet with him and check the space out ahead of time. This was my first on location project and Richard was understanding, patient and extremely helpful. The space itself was gorgeous; amazing rock formations and fantastic plant life. Overall, I had a positive experience as did the team!

Really nice guy runs this area. He was very accommodating and communicative. I was never able to find a flat space of road, mostly bumpy and narrow, not like the pictures. So it worked out that I did not end up bringing a vintage car there because it would have been a challenge on those roads. To give the benefit of the doubt, maybe there was another spot around there with flatter road I never saw but I arrived late due to my car trouble and never found a flat spot. I just thought I'd mention it for others who intend to use cars around here. It proved to be a challenge even with a more modern car with all wheel drive.
