About the North Stage Now a Certified Studio: Studios 60 North Stage is officially recognized as a certified studio by the City of Los Angeles. As an approved facility by the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) Film Unit, productions filming here are not required to obtain a city film permit—a major advantage over traditional locations. This certification streamlines your production process and reduces overhead. Versatile Creative Space Spanning 3,000 square feet, the North Stage is a flexible warehouse-style studio featuring vintage white brick walls, polished concrete floors, and expansive industrial windows. The space is ideal for photo shoots, music videos, and special events. Natural light fills the room throughout the day, with the option to fully black out the space using custom blackout curtains. A smooth white wall with a seamless corner provides a clean backdrop for photography or video production. The 13-foot-high lighting grid allows for versatile lighting setups, while the dedicated loading dock with a roll-up door and ramp ensures easy equipment access. On-Site Amenities North Stage includes a private kitchenette, restrooms, and a spacious makeup room with its own lounge area and private restroom. Privacy doors and screens offer comfort and discretion during production. A nearby private green room adds even more convenience. Access & Parking The stage has a dedicated entrance at 60th Street and Avalon Blvd., Includes a Loading Bay for Truck Loading / Unloading. On-site parking is available close to set.
