About the Space
Don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions. We're happy to hop on the phone if you’d like to discuss your booking! Perfect multi-set loft in one location and super versatile production space! The loft is the penthouse of a beautiful 1920's building in the Historic Core of downtown Los Angeles. The space is a 50ft x 40ft open floor plan (1800 SQ ft available for production.) with 17ft high ceiling. It features brick walls, large windows all around the loft providing lots of natural light, Cyc wall, green screen, multiple backgrounds, free lighting gear and production equipment. We keep the pictures accurate so all the furniture, artwork and plants you see in the photos are available and usable as props to build your ideal set. Everything can be moved (with care). Included with every booking: - a dolly / hand-truck - 3 production lights: 1x Godox SL200Wii, 1x Aputure 120d, 1x Godox SL60 - 3 softboxes - 3 C-stands - 3 apple boxes - 2 flats 4x8ft each (to divide the space, block light or create a green room area) - a crate of stingers and power strips - a crate of A-clamps of various sizes - sand bags - Production daylight light bulbs for all light fixtures in the loft (upon request) - clothing rack and hangers - steamer - Bluetooth speaker system - Vanity Mirror for Hair/Make-Up - High Speed Internet (good upload and download) Additional on-site equipment rental service (Cameras, sound gear, lights, tripod, stands, etc) • The STUDIO / Cyc area: - large grey wall 25x17 ft - 12ft wide seamless backdrop in white, black or chromakey green. ($4/ft on the floor) - 9ft backdrops stands upon request ($3/ft on the floor) Ask us what's in stock. The backdrop is FREE if it doesn't touch the floor! • The LOUNGE area: Wide open area with brick walls and large windows - 2 couches (blue and grey) - 3 armchairs (yellow and black) - 1 coffee table - 2 lamps - zigzag rug • The Colorful pattern wallpaper wall: Stylish, vintage and modern wallpaper. The artworks on the wall are ok to film or can be removed upon request. - 1 red couch - 1 coffee table - Persian rug - 1 Art Deco golden lamp • The Art Deco pattern wallpaper wall: Elegant, sophisticated luxury and a stunning vintage aesthetic. - mid century modern console - 1 banker's lamp • The KITCHEN: Large and open floor plan kitchen. Perfect to use as a set for a scene, a food show or to set crafty for your crew. - fully equipped and functional kitchen with fridge, oven range, microwave, coffee marker. - kitchen island • The DINNING area: - 3 wooden tables 3x4ft each (can be assembled for a large work area or used separately) - 8 black chairs - 4 bar stools available upon request: - 1 folding table (3x6ft) - 10 folding metal chairs - 1 large bathroom/changing room The bedroom and the mezzanine are off-limits unless previously agreed upon. LOAD IN and LOAD OUT: Park in the adjacent public lot and use our dolly to bring your equipment to the lobby. There are 2 regular elevators in the lobby and a freight elevator in the back of the building for larger equipment worth. We're here to help make the process easy and smooth! REGARDING SOUND: The loft is on the 14th floor and isn’t facing the main street so you don't get the regular traffic noise. You'll just have some police sirens and helicopters once in a while but that's pretty standard for DTLA. No noise either coming from neighbors and there's no construction site close by. Please note a site rep will be present on location.

The space is exactly as advertised and represented in photos. Vincent is a great communicator and went out of his way to make our shoot as seamless as possible. Highly recommend both, space and host. Looking forward to shooting here again!

The studio is very large, there are many zones of different styles, it is very convenient that there was a kitchen, a living room with sofas, a corner with chairs , and many different items that may be needed during filming. The studio is very bright and spacious. We were working on the Pin so project, and our team was about 10-12 people. It was free and comfortable to work. Carlos met us and explained everything in detail.

Appreciate all the communication and support from the host. I believe he is a film maker as well so definitely helps! Location was perfect for what we needed. We ended up creating 3 totally different scenes in this location.
