About the Space

We offer for rent per day a space within our gallery of around 300 square feet for either corporate events, social gatherings, cocktails or solo exhibitions. The venue is located in the main art district in Miami named Wynwood, at walking distance from Design District. The ceiling is 12 feet high, and the space offers a box design with gallery lightings, air conditioning and wifi. Walls has a gray border next to the floor and white color paint up to the ceiling. We offer a nice moving wall to have extra space to exhibit. There is a glass wall entrance directly to the main street and also a connection door inside to access the gallery. There is also a bar section/kitchenet and bathroom available for use, which becomes very handy when having vernissages or private cocktails. The furniture in the images is available for use on-site once you rent the space. Any need of a gallery attendant or waitress could be arranged for an extra fee per hour.

    I booked the space to host a Pop Up Art Show for our decentralized Miami based Art Collective (JDR Atelier/@jdr_atelier). We absolutely LOVED our experience working with Miart Space. Ana Moreno went above and beyond in terms of communication leading up to our pop up art show, as well as after the event. She is very quick to respond, very professional and organized which I greatly appreciated. The space is ideal for artists who are interested in hosting private pop up events that are relatively budget friendly by comparison to the average large art fair + art show. Overall lighting was adequate and evenly distributed. Only reason we did not adjust the lighting was due to time management on my part. There was one small quirk with one of the small wall spaces that was beyond Ana's control, but definitely not a deal breaker since there were so many positive things for what we were looking to achieve. Nonetheless, the space is the perfect scale for events that host 50-150 attendees. The discretely tucked away kitchenette was also great to have for our bar service, along with a dedicated restroom for the space itself. Physical location is also wonderful - highly visible, and with ample street parking around, nestled right in between Midtown and Wynwood which is excellent. Our opening event exceeded our expectations, and I believe location played a contributing factor. We did utilize an A-Frame signage by the front door to make way finding a little easier which I definitely recommend. As an emerging artist myself, developing long term partnerships with gallery spaces such as Miart Space is very important within an industry where the tides are shifting in terms of a more decentralized model. Working with Ana made the entire experience extremely stress free and easy to manage. We will definitely be booking her space for more pop up art shows in the future.
