About the Space

This bar and music venue opened in the spring of 2019, celebrating the spirit and history of old Austin. It has hosted film shoots, music videos, and performances by iconic musicians. In the 1980s, it was home to a beloved biker bar, and in the 1920s, it served as a hideout for The Newton Boys. Incorporating elements from the original bar that opened at this location in 1908, the venue now offers cold drinks, good food, live music, and special events.
