About the Space
An architecturally designed contemporary conversion of a Victorian terraced house in Crouch End. Combines the charm and character of traditional Victorian architecture with sleek, modern design elements. A bright and airy kitchen diner with modern glass doors leading to terrace and garden with dark shou sugi ban timber cladding to rear exterior and mirrored on the garden room. Lounge and second reception are more cosy with dark oak wooden floors. The handmade oak vertical staves are used throughout the property from the kitchen island and credenza to the bedroom.

We recently had a booking issue where we mistakenly booked for Saturday instead of Sunday, due to a misunderstanding of the date format (US vs. European calendar). While it was an honest error on our part, we had made all our preparations for a Sunday event. Even a small adjustment, like a two-hour slot on Sunday or another day, would have made a huge difference. It's often said that empathy defines you as a person, and it always comes back to you. Edit: Now I see that the host, despite first writing that there were no possibilities, later offered us a 50% discount for a 2-hour slot. Although we were already distraught and busy looking for another place, and didn't see this message, it should be appreciated.

The space was beautiful and a perfect fit for an intimate master interview. Brent & Wendy were super accommodating making sure we had everything we needed and keeping in communication with us. The property was also quiet and easy to access with shops/cafes in walking distance for additional crew needs.
